OLSS Secured a Total Victory for its Client after the New Jersey Appellate Division Affirmed, in Its Entirety, the Decision and Final Judgment of the Trial Court
OLSS secured a total victory for its client after the New Jersey Appellate Division affirmed, in its entirety, the decision and Final Judgment of the trial court, awarding more than $5 million against the client’s joint venture partner after approximately 16 days of trial. The Final Judgment included $3.5 million of punitive damages, based upon the Court’s determination that the defendant had engaged in the business torts of breach of fiduciary duty and conversion. The case, Erol Devli v. Norman David Tasci, 2022 WL 17491290 (Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, December 8, 2022), was tried, and the appeal handled, by Laurence B.
