Following a career representing closely-held business entities in corporate and real estate transactions, Floyd Shapiro now limits his practice to serving as a neutral mediator of complex business issues. The mediations typically relate to disputes between employees and employers, between customers and suppliers or between government entities and clients. Many of the mediations are assigned by the courts, either on the federal or state level, subject to the approval of the parties involved, but sometimes the disputing parties engage him themselves.
Previously, Floyd concentrated his practice in real estate, loan or acquisition transactions, disputes between business owners, employment agreements, and business and estate planning.
