Orloff and Sun Participate in "Post-Judgment Procedure, Discovery, Stays and Bonds" Program
OLSS's Laurence B. Orloff and Xiao Sun will figure prominently in a CLE program, "Post-Judgment Procedure, Discovery, Stays and Bonds," via Zoom on May 30, 12 noon to 2 p.m. Mr. Orloff will moderate the program and Mr. Sun will be one of three panelists in the program, which is presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association Certified Attorney Section. Among the many topics that will be discussed in the program are:
- What discovery devices are available with respect to post-judgment collection efforts?
- What assets are available to an executing judgment creditor and how can they be reached?
- Are stays of execution automatic upon posting of a surety bond?
- What factors are considered in determining the ability of a judgment debtor to obtain a surety bond?
